I do mind tickers. They're so motherfucking distracting. They came about in the early days of 9/11 and were sparringly used before then for emergencies. Then they stayed on the screen for a whole 24 hours

PS9: Well, 9/11 was a few months ago, so we can get rid of those tickers now, right? ...right...?

As long as it's relatively small, I'm usually not bothered that much. However, I'd rather not have them at all.

The Fox Sports ticker is half blank space. It's ridiculously awful.
